Working on a new scrapbook ... whatcha think so far?

Christmas in Clyde

My dad's woodworking combined with Mama's amazing breakfast made Christmas Day extra special this year! Daddy put two huge pieces of plywood together to make this huge round table so that we could all sit together and actually see each other. Mama made delicious biscuits, fried and scrambled eggs, gravy, bacon, and sausage which was gobbled up quickly by 13 hungry mouths! After we opened gifts, they surprised us with an amazing dessert of apple dumplings! It truly was an amazing Christmas Day!

Imagination

Imagination is more important than Knowledge ... Albert Einstein.

WOW! How could someone known for his brainiac work be credited with such a creative quote?

I love being around children who still know what it means to imagine!

Harmony was so cute (and smart) playing with her little friends and the new barbies given to her by Amy and Amanda. She knew exactly which ones needed which dresses and when it was time for the prince to make his move, she new just which princess was the right choice for him.

Joanna & Ethan have encouraged Harmony to use her imagination and have taught her well. She is one of the smartest little persons I have ever known!

Welcome Xyla Rose

Welcome Xyla Rose Seagle, Joanna & Ethan's beautiful new baby girl! Xyla Rose was born this afternoon and weighed 7 lbs. 11 ounces and was 23 inches long ... and so pretty! She has a head full of hair under that little cap. As you guessed, I took lots of photos, will post more in the a.m.

(Updated 12/17 to reflect correct spelling of baby's name - Thanks, Art)
