We have celebrated 11 Halloweens in this apartment and this was the first one we have ever had trick or treaters. We bought candy and Frank carved pumpkins the first two years here and no one showed so we gave up on it. Friday night the door was open and we were watching Shrek III when we heard something in the yard. It was kind of funny because we were at the point in the movie where the frog king died and we were playing it in slow motion to see what other fairy tale characters were in the story. We paused it on the three little pigs and the big bad wolf. I got up to see who was at the door ... IT WAS THE THREE LITTLE PIGS AND A BIG BAD WOLF. (Insert Twilight music here.) Oh yea they also had Tennessee football player with them.
They were all so cute but, YIKES, we had no candy. I am pretty sure they were happy with the Giant Little Debbie Oatmeal Pies I gave them (stop laughing!)
